Trusting You in Your Business Decisions
Trusting yourself in business is not about making the “right” decision every time. It’s about knowing that no matter what happens, you will have your own back.
So many entrepreneurs say they want to trust their intuition. They want clarity. They want certainty before they take the next step. But business doesn’t offer certainty. Trusting yourself is about being willing to choose anyway, and knowing you will support yourself in whatever that choice creates.
Your gut, your instincts, play a huge role in your success. Yet when it comes time to make a decision, many business owners hesitate. They look outside of themselves. They wait for someone else to tell them what to do. They second-guess what they already know.
Understanding what trust means to you is critical. For me, trust means that I am willing to step all the way into my decision. Not halfway. Not with doubt running the show. It means I trust that I will respond, learn, adjust, and keep choosing forward.
Your business requires you to step fully into your decisions – in fact, it’s your responsibility to your business to have your own back. When you trust that you will always have your own back, you will make choices with conviction.
Your business is not like anyone else’s business. You are unique. Your energy is unique. The way you show up in the world is your own energetic stamp. That means your decisions cannot be made by copying someone else’s path.
When you are about to make a business decision, pause and ask yourself: What is my intuition telling me? Will this be fun for me? Does this excite me?
Asking those kinds of questions will help you tune in to how you actually feel about the decision you’re about to make, which is key, because if there is no energy there, no spark, your business will feel heavy very quickly.
Your joy factor needs to be first on the table. That excitement, that nudge, that sense of expansion – is information.
And one more thing: don’t make business decisions in high emotion. Not from fear. Not from anger. Get neutral. Then listen.
You will be successful if you continue to choose to be successful. So, allow yourself to step into something new. Take the risk. Trust yourself in the decision-making.
