You Do Not Lack Creativity
If you’ve been sitting in that “what do I do next?” place in your business, I want to tell you something straight up: you do not lack creativity.
That “what to do” place can feel dark and heavy. It’s where doubt gets loud. It’s where you start scanning the internet, watching people who look wildly successful, and suddenly your brain goes into a full freeze. It can be so overwhelming when you’re looking outside of yourself, comparing your beginning to someone else’s highlight reel.
So I want to invite you into allowing yourself to do something different, so you can create something different.
Creativity is not reserved for artists, writers, or people who “have that gift.” Creativity is a human capacity. And for entrepreneurs, it’s not a luxury. It’s a tool. A vital one.
Here’s the key: your imagination is the thing that unlocks your creativity. And imagination needs space. It needs play. It does not thrive under pressure, perfectionism, or that tight energy of “I have to figure this out right now.”
When you are doing something that you love, creativity naturally flows. You don’t have to work at it. You can feel it when it’s there. Time disappears. You get absorbed. You’re in it. So here’s a simple practice I want you to try.
First, write a list of at least ten things you genuinely enjoy doing. Not what you “should” enjoy. What you actually love. Then beside each one, answer this: How am I creative when I do this? Because I promise you, you are. You just might not have been calling it creativity.
And then ask: What part of this energy can I bring into my business? Maybe it’s the curiosity. The freedom. The experimentation. The willingness to try something without judging yourself.
If your imagination is the key, and we know your imagination is the key, it’s time to play. Get crazy. Get wild. Allow yourself to dream. Get lost in your creativity like a child gets lost in the sand.
